BRIEF ABOUT ME

 
 

As a project manager in the events industry yet with a creative background, I can oversee events from conception to completion. Currently working at an events agency, I am responsible for managing projects by creating detailed briefs and delegating tasks to all the involved teams. Once the idea and technical proposal are presented to the Client/Agency I start with setting the budget for that project and preparing the quotation, afterward I start to prepare a detailed execution plan with clear details to coordinate between the various parties involved in the project such as the production house, lighting and screens Team, sound team, and stage engineers. Before the event, I conduct site inspections to ensure everything is in place and then lead the operations team on-site to ensure a smooth installation. Throughout the event, I closely monitor all aspects of the event during installation as well as operation to ensure everything is running perfectly, providing the client/agency with a top-notch and hassle-free event from start to end.

Lately, I made a shift in my career from the creative side to the operation side, when I was a creative director, I used to visit the operation sites during the event preparations to ensure that my concept is being implemented the right way, this made me familiar with the event operation side. Then I decided to make the shift to the operation side and start getting things done from start to end. My creative background allowed me to better understand how things work inside the studio when it comes to creating concepts and designs, adding up to my skills when I became a project manager and I rapidly proved myself in the operation field leading mega event projects inside and outside Egypt.

EVENT FIELD EXPERIENCE

 

From start to finish and from creative to execution, I would be responsible for the successful execution of events, ensuring that all logistics are taken care of and that the event runs smoothly. This includes creating a theme for the event, pre-event planning, on-site management, and post-event follow-up. I have extensive experience managing events and a proven track record of successful event execution, as well as mastering logistics, with the ability to think rapidly and solve problems quickly and efficiently. Most importantly, I will be a team player who can work closely with other event staff, vendors, and clients to ensure the event is successful.

Below are some of the tasks I used to do at the agencies I worked for:

  • Coming up with a Structure for the event covering all aspects to start delegating tasks to mentioned teams.

  • Develop the budget and needed quotations for the event.

  • Create reports before and after the event.

  • Hire the correct staff to work on the event, if needed.

  • Approve all aspects and coordinate between teams before the event.

  • Create an execution plan for the event.

  • Close all deals with all the stakeholders such as suppliers, production houses, vendors, sponsors, and so on…

  • Find vendors and sponsors, if needed.

  • Find an appropriate location for the event, if needed.

  • Handle all Event installation and operation aspects with my team on ground.
